29 dead in Beijing Changfeng Hospital fire
Last Tuesday (April 18) a fire broke out in Beijing Changfeng Hospital, killing 29 people and injuring 39 others. It was one of the fires with the most casualties in Beijing in the past ten years. Twelve related personnel, including the director of Changfeng Hospital, were criminally detained.

Last Wednesday, Japan granted refugee status to a Ugandan lesbian.
