2.1: Positioning
Accurate positioning is really important.
Only when the positioning is clear can we have a strong point and work hard to be effective.
If the positioning is not clear, it is often scattered, with little effect.
To clarify my personal positioning, I am currently engaged in cloud computing development, mainly doing technical research, design and implementation. I share technical skills and life anecdotes in my spare time, and practice various technologies that I think are valuable in the form of website construction and application development. If the practice works well, I will apply it to my work and work hard to promote it, which has improved work efficiency.
I think that all efficiency issues are management issues, which will be shared in the next topic.
When you are confused, besides reading a lot of books, you also need to find your own route in this vast ocean.
Previously, I made a website by myself and did some simple web application development. In order to practice DevOps, I purchased two server group k3s clusters with an active price of 2C4G, and deployed my own applications, monitoring and statistical programs on them. Because the number of visits is not high, it is more than enough to migrate all small software to a 1C2G server by directly deploying Docker + Nginx recently.
That being the case, the extra part is actually wasted, and this is the money that can be saved by finding the right position. But it’s not a complete waste, which allowed me to experience the convenience of k3s and its consumption of resources is really big.

I take it for granted. An experienced developer can be worth a small team with little experience. Managing five people is a completely different thing from managing twenty.
For DevOps, my understanding is not deep enough, but I found that as long as I intentionally understand the essence behind it, I am not far from the truth.
The best solution is to hand over repetitive work to the pipeline, and developers follow some concise and easy-to-understand specifications.
An efficient workflow allows people to easily complete complex tasks. In many cases, there is no need to work overtime to complete.
Once someone works overtime, it is necessary to consider whether there is a problem with performance and workflow.
For individuals, low learning and work efficiency is also a problem with self-management. Make good use of your subjective initiative, find out the laws of your body, and figure out when to do things, so that you can exert the highest efficiency.
Efficiency comes first, and efficiency must be improved in order to go further.

Even considered shutting down the blog before, but found it a great avenue to share quickly. So I still keep it, just maintain some high-quality content on the homepage regularly.
This month, I really can’t stand the wonderful recommendations and pushes of various software. For example, I used RSSHub + Miniflux + Render to build my own RSS reading stream, and only read the high-quality content I subscribed to.
In the future, I may consider collecting and reprinting some high-quality document resources.
