2023 Semi-Annual Summary

On 8.30th, before Labor Day, I chatted with the PE in the group about Career Development, and learned a lot of useful suggestions, which happened to be put together with the half-year summary here.

The years do not live, the seasons flow like a stream; I don’t feel that the mountains are twilight, and the autumn clouds are darker.

Summary of plans compared to the beginning of the year

I have a habit of listing plans at the beginning of each year and summarizing at the end of the year. This multiple half-year summary, let’s first compare the plan at the beginning of the year. Copy the task list directly from the 2022 summary and 2023 plan at the beginning of the year,

  • Didn’t pay attention to fitness and weight control, need focus
    • control diet

  • AFO Ingestion Migration is taking too much time and must be resolved quickly
  • Leetcode Interruption
  • There is no note number to accumulate my own work, resulting in lack of points when doing mid year review but I did more than I can recall. This is bad, need to record in doc.

Here I summarize PE’s point of view, how to succeed in promotion. In fact, the most important thing for promotion in a big company is your influence.
