Use speech-to-text to practice oral language skills

This is a speech-to-text article. Right now I’m lying in bed with my phone aside, I don’t need to type, I just need to say what I want to say. The recording process is very fast, I just need to concentrate on thinking, and then tell the results of my thinking. But this method will inevitably make the gold content of the whole article less dense, which is really a bit irresponsible to my readers.

I think it’s more like a broken thought. I used to be very disdainful of this way of recording. I used to be more inclined to write down the results of my thinking, but not the process of thinking. The advantage of this is that when I am reviewing, I can get what I want as soon as possible, instead of having to read an article with hundreds of words and thousands of words before I can remember what the article wants to express ? I used to write a diary often, but when I wrote hundreds of articles in the diary, and each article contained hundreds or even thousands of words, it would be very cumbersome to look back on.

So why do I still want to write this article in such a way that the process of thinking is also recorded. First, in order to exercise my articulation clarity in oral expression. Second, it can also exercise the language organization ability and thinking reaction ability when speaking. Third, you can also update the blog. Although my practice will be very uncomfortable for my readers, but it is an improvement for me. As a 16-year-old Internet user, most of the time every day is in front of the computer screen or talking about Mobile phone screens, the result is that there are fewer and fewer ways to communicate face-to-face with others, or even almost none. It caused a noticeable deterioration in my face-to-face verbal communication skills, so I had to make a change. I can organize a sentence in my mind and then say it in one breath. Doing so can also save the time and energy needed to use the keyboard to code words, and only need to concentrate on thinking and speaking.

I can imagine that I should rarely review these articles in the future. Because they are just some of my own thoughts. It’s easy to repeat the same thing over and over again. Maybe I said it yesterday and I will say it again today. It may make the reader spend a long time reading and get no value from it.

This reminds me of so-called knowledge videos. I am a heavy user of station b. If there is any problem that needs to be solved, I will try to search on station b, so I will find a lot of knowledge videos. However, although he said it was a knowledge class, in fact the entire video contained very little gold. They are just such a behavior in order to obtain traffic in exchange for benefits. Usually they will write a question you are interested in on the cover of the video or the title of the video, such as “How to Quit Mobile Phone”, when I click in, I usually find that these videos are about five minutes long, some even Up to ten minutes. If you want to know the answer to this question then you have to start from the beginning to the end. Usually after reading it, you will find that how to quit the phone can be summed up in two or three sentences.

For example, there must be a purpose to use a mobile phone, to collect data or to contact customers, and stop using it after the goal is achieved. Whenever I habitually want to pick up my mobile phone to read, I must first think about what is the purpose of using my mobile phone this time? If you find that there is no purpose and you just swipe your phone just because you are bored, then tell yourself in your heart to cut off this kind of thinking decisively.

Each video can basically be summed up in a few words or a sentence or two, and the rest of the content is basically low in gold content. For example, self-introduction, such as shaking smart, such as saying some jokes, or making an advertisement. There are also many unrelated sand sculptures in the video. So watching the whole video makes me feel very uncomfortable. The time I spend and the value I get are too different. Some even split some short core ideas into several videos to get more views. Such an approach would be very uncomfortable for viewers like me who need to spend an average of five or six minutes to reach a conclusion.

And if I use the voice-to-text method to record, it will actually be like the redundant content that happens in the video I mentioned above. It may take a long time for readers to read this article of mine, only to find that most of me are actually talking a lot of nonsense. The things I say are not really helpful to them, they are of little value. This is more of my own opinion on some things, and it may just be a simple complaint. More I’m just practicing my oral language skills.

But then again, in my small blog with an average daily average of about 20pv, it doesn’t matter what I do. There aren’t many readers anyway, so it’s okay to be casual.
