Google has decided to abandon Google Hangouts Hangouts and move its users to the alternative Google Chat App… Google announced that users who use Hangouts on mobile will see a notification message in the app, allowing them to migrate to Gmail Chat or Chat App ; users using the Hangouts Chrome extension will also migrate to Chat for the Web, or install the Chat Web App.
