Gut microbes help digest food and maintain human health by affecting the immune, metabolic and nervous systems. As humans flocked to urban life, more than half of the gut microbes were lost . This condition may affect human health. Changes in diet by urban life, antibiotic use, and improved sanitation may all be responsible for the disappearance of human gut microbes. The researchers analyzed and compared the gut microbes of primates and humans and found that humans lost 57 of the 100 species of microorganisms found in primates such as chimpanzees, some of which disappeared thousands of years ago, and some are In the recent disappearance, urban residents lost the most.
