 Titan Media App reported on July 1 that the first domestically-made large cruise ship built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, successfully achieved the major node of the first main power generation motor vehicle. Compared with ordinary civilian ships, the main generators of cruise ships have a great leap in terms of quantity and power, so as to meet the needs of all users in the life and leisure areas on the ship as high as 16 floors and sailing for ships. One of the MAN main engines with an output power of 9.6 megawatts and a single machine weight of 135 tons is implemented this time. The amount of work to drive such a huge set of equipment is far exceeding that of conventional ship projects, involving more than 11,000 pipes and cables. There are more than 4,000 pieces, and nearly 200 sets of equipment and accessories are installed.
