Marriott Hotel has once again exposed the accident of user data leakage . In the June incident, attackers used social engineering techniques to trick Maryland Marriott hotel employees into gaining access to their computers, but the company said the hackers did not have access to its core systems. The hackers claimed to have stolen 20 GB of data, including customers’ credit cards. Marriott previously admitted in 2019 to hacking its Starwood hotel reservation system, accessing the information of 383 million customers and stealing the unencrypted passports of 5.25 million customers.
