I also didn’t expect that this would become a small business that I would strive for for the next thirteen years.
At that time, in the Internet industry, Web 2.0 was in full swing, and it was a good time to start a business in the sea. Zhihu was also nurtured in the group blog of Apple4.us, and the founder of Xiaohongshu was still practicing in foreign companies. And we are just a group of niche players. We really don’t understand anything. We just think that the online community can gather so many users from different backgrounds and fields overnight. It’s really amazing. The joy and impulse that comes from the heart , maybe it’s the so-called original intention.
I never thought that the data and content left by these people are the money in the future, but I have been thinking, such an interesting organization, such a group of enthusiastic people gathered together, must be able to make something valuable matter. Therefore, three years later, when we really had the opportunity to sell to a listed company at a valuation of tens of millions, I hardly thought about it seriously. It was not because the money was too little, but I felt that this matter has just begun, and I have a lot more. Ideas don’t really go into practice.

Although we researched and experienced these mobile application products all day, we never thought of doing anything in the past. We still focused on building a high-quality content system, and unknowingly missed another trend of the times.
In 2016, we finally had a little foundation. It was during the dividend period of the WeChat public account. Investors suggested that we give up everything and all in the public account fans and data. We chose to set up a product development team and reconstruct our own community product system, but we were too idealistic and had too high expectations for the product, and soon ran out of funds and fell into a trough.
Although we have gone through many setbacks and constantly faced the baptism of the industry, we have never given up on the underlying thinking of the community value system. It is not just simple UGC and PGC, nor is it just selling content and traffic. The value of the community is much more than that. From building the Matrix content co-creation system to the Tron plan product co-creation module, behind this is a complex user system, content payment and commodity modules.
