“Hengchuang Nano” completed more than 100 million yuan of Pre-A round of financing

Today, Jiangsu Hengchuang Nano Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hengchuang Nano”) announced the completion of more than 100 million yuan in financing. This round of financing was led by Yueda Investment, Wofu Capital, Hillhouse Ventures, Skyworth Investment, Jizhi Technology, Woyan Capital and Kaishi Capital jointly invested. This round of financing will be used for the research and development and production of lithium manganese iron phosphate, a cathode material of 5,000 tons of lithium-ion batteries.

Founded in February 2022, Hengchuang Nano is specialized in the research and development, production and sales of lithium-ion batteries and related fields of core materials. The products will be widely used in new energy vehicles, two-wheeled electric vehicles and energy storage systems. Hengchuang Nano takes continuous innovation as the core driving force and customer demand as the guide, and its vision is to become the world’s top battery material supplier.

At present, the first phase of Hengchuang Nano’s annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of lithium iron manganese phosphate cathode material under construction in Yancheng, Jiangsu will be put into operation by the end of the year, and the battery material research and development laboratory will also be completed at the same time. Together with the follow-up Phase II and Phase III investments, the total annual output will eventually reach 150,000 tons. After the completion of the above three phases, Hengchuang Nano will be a leading battery material enterprise with few global intellectual property layouts and large-scale mass production capacity in the country. The company’s customers include the world’s leading electric two-wheelers and new energy vehicle manufacturers.
