The implementation of manned flight in an outdoor public space is the first in Japan, and a take-off and landing site will be set up on the roof of a high-rise building of Mitsubishi Estate and a suburban parking lot to promote demonstration experiments. In the future, urban construction will be advanced to build houses and offices around the take-off and landing sites, and new ways of working and living will be explored. Mitsubishi Estate has been selected as the operator of a flying car-related project publicly offered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. A cooperation system of three companies will be adopted. According to reports, not only Japan Airlines, which uses aircraft navigation technology experience to provide airframe flight services, but also Kanematsu, which has a business cooperation with British Skyports, a start-up company that develops and operates take-off and landing sites.
