Accidentally found an X86 small host, saw the model is APL100, searched, there is very little information, I have not seen it in China, only foreign websites have:

The front is very simple, TF card (maximum 64GB), power switch, there is a reset button hole next to it, and the LED light is also an opening, bright white light; 
There are cooling holes in the back, HDMI and LAN interfaces, I don’t know what era, but also make a 100M; 
Two USB2.0 ports, DC port, 12V; 
USB3.0 interface, there is also a TYPE-C interface, which cannot be powered; 
A solid-state drive can be inserted on the back, but the interface is mSATA, with a maximum of 256GB;
It seems that the silk screen is made in China, but Taobao Xianyu has not found a seller;
Let’s take a look inside. At first, I thought there were screws in the four foot pads, but when I opened it, there was no inside. Later, I found out that it was very simple.
Very simple, the top cover should be metal aluminum, the bottom is plastic, I think this design is very good; 
The copper heat sink, the small fan, and the running Linux have basically not turned. The black one was a self-made battery. The original one was dead, so I just found a silver-zinc battery and soldered it on.
To disassemble the radiator: 
CPU and two pieces of DDR3L;

I did not see the network port chip; 
USB3.0 chip and interface, and an audio processing chip; 
The back is very simple, a mSATA socket, a WiFi Bluetooth module, 32GB nand flash; 
After installing the Linux system, the power consumption is still very low: 
What can this host do? openwrt has only one 100M Ethernet port, and NAS has only one mSATA interface that supports up to 256GB. It’s okay to be a downloader alone, but my soft router has this function. Run Linux and I won’t develop anything, just make a TV The network speed of the box is not enough, it’s really a chicken rib.
After thinking about it, install a HomeAssistant, no high-speed network, no expansion, no storage, and low power consumption.
Then I found out that the ease of use of HomeAssistant is still very poor after so many years of development, at least three articles have to be written.
