Google shuts down Chinese translation service with low usage

Google confirmed that it shut down the Chinese version of the translation service, citing low usage. Visiting the domain name http://translate.google.cn will be redirected to Google’s Hong Kong domain name, and users can continue to use the translation service through translate.google.com.hk under the Hong Kong domain name. This change occurred in the past few days and was noticed by users. In addition to the occasional redirection of domain names, the translation function of some applications such as KOReader has also been affected.
