Cloud software provider Five9 CEO resigns, shares fall 25%

Shares of cloud software provider Five9 closed down 25% on Monday, falling to its lowest level since March 2020 after Chief Executive Rowan Trolllope announced his resignation… Trollope tweeted Special said he would head to a pre-IPO startup as CEO of a VC-backed startup… He was replaced by Mike Burkland, the former CEO of Five9. Birkeland stepped down as CEO in 2017 after being diagnosed with cancer. He will succeed Trollope as CEO on November 28.
