The word “Shiyue” on the waistband evokes some memory fragments. It turned out to be an incident 8 years ago. This is a novel created by writer Jin Yuhuan based on the materials obtained by interviewing and making friends with people related to the Shiyue. After a few times of puffing up, he finally opened it up, knowing that it was an extremely painful disaster, but when the incident ended in the first When speaking in one person, the sudden grief that came from everyone was so impactful that I couldn’t help shedding tears. The novel takes a petition written by a civilian diver to the court as the main line, and “interviews” with different witnesses of the Shiyue incident are constantly inserted in the middle. In this book, Chizuru Ueno and Ryomi Suzuki talk about sex, about gender/gender, about the extension of feminism in everyday life, and about their own hesitations, confusions, and problems.
