Alphawave to buy Israeli chip developer Banias Labs for $240 million

Banias Labs is a developer of optical digital signal processing chips that develop infrastructure solutions for next-generation communications with proprietary technologies that enable ultra-high-speed communications and physical-layer security. UK-based IP and custom silicon supplier Alphawave has announced that it will acquire a 100% stake in Banias Labs for approximately $240 million in cash. The acquisition was funded from existing cash and additional financing.
