World’s second richest man sells private jet to avoid tracking

Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, a French company known for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, has surpassed Jeff Bezos to become the second-richest person in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Sri Lanka is $130 billion. He has also been criticized for his frequent use of private jets, which were tracked by French Twitter users using public information. But after Arnault’s plane was deregistered in France last month, he is believed to be in hiding . Arnault confirmed the incident via a company podcast on Monday, saying that LVMH sold the private jet and that no one would know where he went in the future, and that he would rent a plane to travel in the future. Antoine Arnault, the second young master of the Arnault family, also said that letting others know the location of the company’s planes could give competitors an advantage.
