Ningde Times recently disclosed the record of investor relations activities. The company held a conference call on October 21. Although the announcement did not disclose the detailed list of participants, it showed “1,700 invited investors”. During the research activities, investors focused on the shipments of CATL’s power battery and energy storage business. According to the company, the sales volume of battery systems in the third quarter was about 90GWh. The current industry demand continues to grow, and the company’s capacity utilization rate is relatively saturated. Combined with the potential boost to demand at the end of this year due to the subsidy decline next year, sales in the fourth quarter may increase month-on-month. “The company’s comprehensive information includes communication with OEM customers. The future growth of industry demand is relatively clear. Once the electrification trend is determined, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles will increase faster than everyone expects. At the same time, the global energy storage market has grown significantly since the beginning of this year. Speeding up, the company’s energy storage business has also started rapidly.” Ningde Times said. (Financial Association)
