Pinwan, October 25th, according to CNMO reports, Honda recently officially launched its new pluggable battery charging and swapping station system, the Honda Power Station Exchanger e, designed for use with Honda mobile power stations.

The swapping station system will be the first to be put into use in Tokyo, Japan, and will be introduced to the Indian market by Honda’s subsidiary in India. According to Honda, the appearance of the device is aimed at promoting the popularity of electric motorcycles in cities, which is also related to the battery swap companies that Honda previously established with Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki.

According to the introduction, the use of the power exchange system is very simple, and users who are approved to use will have a chip card for contactless induction with the power exchange station. Afterwards, they were able to insert a used battery into an open slot and remove a fully charged battery from another slot. The overall usage process is very similar to the current shared power bank sites on the street.
