Pinwan, October 27th, the Qichacha APP shows that Apple recently published a patent for “method for making non-terrestrial network communications comply with terrestrial standards and regulations”.

The patent abstract shows that user equipment can configure transmitters or receivers to comply with the regulations or standards of a geographic area to communicate with non-terrestrial networks, such as satellite networks. In one embodiment, the user equipment may receive an indication of the regulation or standard to be complied with from the terrestrial communication node and apply a transmission template to the transmitter based on the regulation or standard. User equipment may additionally or alternatively configure the receiver to comply with noise level tolerances for received signals specified by regulations or standards.
