With the release of Kali Liux 2022.3
version 2022.3, the Linux kernel is also updated to 5.18.5
(2020-07-07). As of October 29, 2022, the latest kernel version under the amd64
architecture is 5.19.11
(2022-10-10). Note that currently Linux Kerel 5.19 is end of life and is marked as EOL on kerel.org , which means there will be no more bug fixes and security patches for this release. It is recommended to wait for Kali to release the latest kernel and upgrade in time. > However, with the continuous upgrade of the Kali system, some software packages have broken dependencies in the middle, so that the kernel cannot be upgraded by the normal software treasure management tool upgrade method. >
