These three years have contained too many things, such as pain, boredom, irritability, impatience, forbearance, dissatisfaction, heaviness, and so on.

You package all the negativity involved in these three years and call it “emotion”, remember, it is just emotion.

Your life is far broader than emotions . This is the insight you should have when negative emotions arise.

“Hello, my emotions, I know where you are, and I will take good care of you.”

At this moment, you should learn abdominal breathing, practice mindfulness, and know that you have the ability to adjust your inner emotional storm.

You can choose the most comfortable position, sit or lie down, close your eyes, put your hands on your abdomen, take a deep breath, take a deep breath, and feel the rise and fall of your abdomen.

Stop all your thinking and just watch your belly rise when you take a deep breath in and drop when you breathe out. Just feel the rise and fall of your breath and the movement of your body.

When practicing in this way, don’t allow yourself to remain at the level of the mind. Direct your awareness down to the level of the breath, just below the navel, and be purely aware of the rising and falling of the abdomen. Focus on this and don’t stray, and you will be safe.

It’s like a tree in a storm: when you look at the crown, you see the leaves sway violently back and forth in the wind. You may feel like the tree is about to snap off or be blown away. But when you turn your attention down to the trunk, you see how solid it is, its roots are so deep and firmly embedded in the ground that it is impossible to be blown away by the wind.

You know this tree will weather the storm. So when you are swept by an emotional storm, don’t stay at the crown of the tree, don’t stay at the level of your mind.

stop thinking. Go down to the trunk, to your belly. Hug the trunk, giving 100 percent attention to the rising and falling of the abdomen.

As long as you maintain mindful breathing and keep your mind alone, you will be safe.

Don’t wait until bad emotions arise to think about practicing mindful breathing, or you will be overwhelmed when you need it most.

Stop thinking, don’t think too much, the more you think, the more emotions, the more emotions, the aggregate of formations will have bad emotions.

The formation aggregate is the force of creation and centripetal force.
