AMD announces three Ryzen 7000-series processors with 3D caching

At CES 2023, AMD announced three Ryzen 7000 series processors with 3D caching. AMD’s first-generation 3D cache processor was the Zen3 architecture-based Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which proved to be excellent for cache-intensive games. The second generation is based on Zen4, including: Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D and Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Among them, the L3 cache of 7950X3D is 128MB, and the total of L2 and L3 cache is 144MB; the L3 cache of 7900X3D is 128MB, and the total of L2 and L3 cache is 140 MB; the L3 cache of 7800X3D is 96 MB, and the total of L2 and L3 cache is 104 MB. AMD’s tests show that the game performance of 7800X3D is at least 21% higher than that of the previous generation 5800X3D. The three products are expected to be released in February, the specific time has not been announced.
