Peloton’s Tread+ treadmill has previously been identified as having a flaw that could cause serious injury to consumers. The $19.1 million fine also resolves allegations that Peloton distributed the recalled treadmills in violation of the Consumer Product Safety Act, according to the CPSC.
In addition, Peloton said it will submit an annual report on its compliance program and internal control system within the next five years.
