IT House reported on January 27 that the Galaxy A54 5G may be the best mid-range phone in Samsung’s 2023 series. Rumor has it that Samsung will not launch the Galaxy A74 this year. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G was recently certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), confirming some new upgrade points.

IT Home learned that the FCC certification shows that the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G model is SM-A546E / SM-A546E / DS, confirming that it has dual SIM card functionality. There is also support for a 25W charger and it is expected to have a larger 5100mAh battery.

Previously, the Galaxy A52s 5G achieved Wi-Fi 6 connectivity with the help of the Snapdragon 778G 5G chip, but the Galaxy A53 5G, which was launched six months later, did not achieve this feature because it used the Exynos 1280 chip.

Thankfully, a recent FCC certification confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy A54 5G will bring back Wi-Fi 6 connectivity (Wi-Fi b/g/n/a/ac/ax). Benchmarks show that the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is powered by an Exynos 1380 chip with improved performance and obviously better connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is expected to launch after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 flagship series on February 2, possibly in March this year.
