Syntach is a Swedish developer of cardiac support devices to improve care for the rapidly growing population of heart failure patients, powered by an implantable battery that avoids skin penetration of the drive wire and many of the negative adverse effects associated with traditional left ventricular assist devices. Syntach AB has received up to €15 million in equity financing from the European Innovation Council to develop the Syntach Cardiac Support System, a breakthrough device for patients with heart failure.
