Since last year, domestic and foreign IDC manufacturers, including Tencent Cloud, have new logic in terms of strategy and future development. They need to “spend money wisely” and have begun to “reduce costs and increase efficiency” – no longer With low-price promotions, preferential promotions are getting weaker and weaker. The original four to five hundred yuan could be purchased in Tencent Cloud Hong Kong for three years, but when it comes to the renewal stage, even using large coupons is not enough to purchase for one year. Even, on March 25 this year, Tencent Cloud issued an announcement to delist/increase the price of some overseas lightweight clouds.
During Black Friday at the end of November 2022, on a hosting forum, many people snapped up Green Cloud ‘s special VPS. After several days of staying up late to buy, I finally got a “True Fragrance Machine”. The configuration is as follows:

Remarks: The three-year payment price is only 60 US dollars, and the exchange rate at the time of purchase is about 460 yuan. The traffic doubled from 750GB to 1.5TB, and the memory doubled from 2G to 4G.
Two migration processes:
From November last year to March this year, this website has been running smoothly in the Lvyun Osaka computer room for several months, and the access speed and stability are not bad.
In mid-March, I received an email migration notification. All the data on my VPS will be automatically migrated from the Osaka computer room to the Tokyo computer room. I only need to manually change the domain name to the new IP (91.199.*.*). But after moving, I found that I couldn’t access the new IP, and the Ping command didn’t work either. I submitted a technical work order in the background, and the customer service asked me for the Root password (dangerous behavior, please do not disclose it to strangers), and quickly solved it for me. A few days later, after I restarted the VPS, the problem reappeared. Eliminate the reason, my Linux system has been DDed , the default network card is eth0, and after the data migration, the network card needs to be changed to en3, because I can’t enter the VNC window, I can’t use the code “nano /etc/network/interfaces” to modify, simply Reinstall the operating system again.
Migrated to the computer room in Tokyo, the CPU was upgraded from E5-2698 v4 to AMD EPYC 7763, and the single-core/multi-core running scores increased from 569 points/1145 points to 1408 points/2672 points, which greatly improved the performance. And in the streaming media detection , it was found to directly unlock Netflix (the original IP only supports self-made dramas), Disney+, etc.

Green Cloud is one of the popular merchants in a host forum. The models are relatively cost-effective, and the main products are basically sold in limited quantities through major foreign festivals. The Asia-Pacific region only recommends the Japan region, which is directly connected to the three networks; while the Hong Kong region and Singapore region, the lines are around the United States, and are only suitable for streaming media unlocking.
After I used the built-in image of Green Cloud , I found that the traffic would be “stealed” obviously, and the problem was solved after DD Liunx .
