Some students asked me how to add points to my resume. In fact, I have shared this question before, so I will summarize it again. The following description is more biased towards social recruitment, but it also has certain reference value for students.
First of all, the resume is just a stepping stone. Our purpose is to make the interviewer look good, and then give us a chance to interview. The resume does not need to express all of ourselves. The interviewer must obtain a lot of information from the interview to deepen know about you. So to what extent the resume is written, our goal is quite clear.
How to tell people what you [did] from your resume, and what you [may be done] in the future, the following points can be referred to :
- Express a challenging and complete thing, such as realizing the derivation and landing of a platform architecture, and using four rounds of optimization in three months to improve the overall performance of the system by 1.5 times, etc.; instead of writing a certain The front end of a website, five common components are deposited and so on;
- Show your cross-professional characteristics, for example, as a front-end engineer, I have made outstanding contributions to the operation and maintenance work; I have in-depth research and good output in graphics and images; I have managed 5 medium-sized projects concurrently and ensured on-time delivery, etc. ;
- Find and analyze problems from the perspective of business value, such as reducing operating costs and improving the efficiency of data display from offline to online by merging two similar systems; instead of simply saying that data is realized The merging of layers unifies the expression of pure technology such as front-end interaction;
After all, you still need to let the interviewer see your abilities in these aspects :
- Technical comprehensive ability/learning ability (hard power)
- Business Insight (Comprehension)
- Ability to get results (executive power)
After reading many resumes, excellent people probably have the following characteristics (two or three or more) :
- Stayed in a famous company, endorsed by a big factory
- Participating projects are very shocking
- Achievements in projects with a large span in technical fields
- There is precipitation in the technical field with threshold
- Technical output has a prominent impact on the team/business
- patent after patent
- Won some hard-to-get awards
- Very good tenacity, perseverance in one/several things
- Amazing thinking, amazing action
- Quick thinking and extremely rigorous logic
- Have a certain community influence
Hope to be of some help to you.
