In the afternoon of the weekend, I made an impromptu decision and took the bus to Jiuqutang. Check the departure time of the outbound journey and hit the road. The return journey is to take the Taiwan Railway shuttle bus.
MRT Dadong Station 12:46→Fengshan Transit Station 12:47 (walk)
Take MRT Orange Line to Dadong Station, and exit the station is Fengshan Transit Station. The stop sign of the transfer station is divided into two seats. Seat 1 faces Guangyuan Road, and Seat 2 faces Dadong Wetland Park. It is clearly marked which bus is going in which direction and which seat to take, so you don’t have to worry about taking the wrong direction.
Fengshan Transit Station 13:06 → Dashu Junior High School 13:25 (Bus on Dashu Prayer Line of Southeast Passenger Transport)
The bus I want to take is the Dashu Blessing Line from Fengshan Station to the Buddha Memorial Hall operated by Southeast Passenger Transport. Depart from Fengshan Station at 13:00 and arrive at the transfer station at 13:06. It’s a minibus.
Most of the people waiting for the bus at the transfer station still go to the urban area, and very few people want to take the bus to the suburbs. Only me and a grandma got on the bus.
Swipe the MeNGo monthly pass card, take a photo and keep a record. Today, I took photos when I got on and off the bus, and when the Taiwan Railway entered and exited the station.
There are only two stations between Fengshan Interchange Station and Jiuqutang on bus platform 1, Fengshan Junior High School Station and Houzhuang Farmers Association. It takes only 20 minutes to arrive at Jiuqutang, which is actually about the same time as driving by yourself.
Dashu Junior High School 13:25 → Jiuqutang Station Back Station 13:26 (walking)
Dashu Junior High School stands at the gate of Dashu Junior High School, next to Jiuqu Road after Jiuqutang Station.
The back station of Jiuqutang Station is just opposite to Dashu Junior High School, just across the road. The rear station has only been enabled in recent years. I remember that when I came last time, there was only a pedestrian underpass outside the station connecting the front and rear stations.
There is also a YouBike at the back station, from which you can ride to the old iron bridge. Of course the bus is also available. The bus I took today is the next stop after Dashu Junior High School. However, there are not many buses in the suburbs, and even fewer on weekdays. YouBike is more flexible.
Jiuqutang 13:34→Fengshan 13:42 (interval 3208)
The original plan was that if the return journey (regardless of bus or Taiwan Railway) had to wait for a while, I would go to a few scenic spots near the former station. After a while, there will be a shuttle bus to Fengshan, so go directly to the station and take the bus.
The TPASS ticket inspection machines at all stations are the same, but the additional signs are different. Generally speaking, small stations with unmanaged gates will post a little more.
The Jiuqutang station platform features pineapple-colored pillars.
The return tram is EMU500. And it’s a car that hasn’t been modified inside.
The driving time from Jiuqutang to Fengshan is very short, and there is only one Houzhuang station in the middle. We’ll be there in less than ten minutes.
Fengshan Station 13:47 → MRT Fengshan Station 13:51 (YouBike)
Walk out of Fengshan Station, borrow a YouBike in front of the station and ride to MRT Fengshan Station, ending the one-hour round-trip Jiuqutang flash mob trip.
