In fact, I have nothing to do with Xiaoyaozi. The only time I met Jianzhenren was not long after I arrived at Tmall, around winter? Haha, kidding, it should be around 2014 or 2015. I have forgotten how I participated in this meeting. Anyway, I felt that I was not level enough and lacked the confidence to enter the conference room. Moreover, among the two things that left a deep impression on me that day, one was It’s quite similar to this, haha

The first thing is that before the meeting started, someone opened the door and came in and wanted to join the meeting. I guess he was P7, but I was not sure. He directly asked Xiaoyaozi to “scream when there is injustice on the road” and “get out!”, and then this guy I had no choice but to go out. I guess either this person Xiaoyaozi looked unfamiliar, or his direct boss didn’t say hello? The second thing that impressed me even more was that, as the CEO of Tmall at the time, Xiaoyaozi was really “in the hall and in the kitchen”. He directly asked senior executives (level > P9) to open the Tmall listing page and point at each item. In the past few years of starting a business, I have met many CEOs. The common denominator is that they have good physical strength. But if they have poor physical strength, they really can’t start a business or do the job of a CEO.

This is my only impression of Xiaoyaozi.

Let’s talk about some personal views on Xiaoyaozi and Alibaba. First of all, Xiaoyaozi’s characteristics may not match Ali’s plate. The generals have different talents, but this cannot be entirely blamed on him. The power lies in that place. It wouldn’t be much easier if it were someone else. No one went against the trend. The same goes for Mr. Ma. You know, before Xiaoyaozi became the CEO of Alibaba, Mr. Ma asked Lu Zhaoxi to do it first, but later found that it didn’t work. , just changed to Xiaoyaozi.

As for Xiaoyaozi’s transition from CEO to Alibaba Cloud, I thought this step was unbelievable at the time.
