Jetpack Site Accelerator (aka Jetpack CDN) can help your pages load faster by allowing Jetpack to optimize your images and serve them alongside static files like CSS and JavaScript on servers around the world.
At the same time, the service provider also provides free global CDN acceleration services for images under any domain name, and the process can also be accessed domestically! !
As a webmaster, it is a very good solution for accelerating and backing up images, and it also supports image editing and cropping!
Accelerate domain names

file format
gif, png, webp, jpeg and jpg
Features
- Open source! Available via SVN at https://ift.tt/BLIbukt: https://ift.tt/LUV6GaJ
- quickly! Site Accelerator utilizes multiple levels of caching, including a globally distributed CDN, to ensure images are served as quickly as possible.
- All images are compressed on the fly using a combination of pngquant and OptiPNG or jpegoptim. Lossless compression can be achieved by specifying a quality setting of 100 in the query parameters.
- Multiple domains. To take advantage of parallel downloads, we support multiple subdomains of Site Accelerator. If you tend to have a lot of images per page, you can split them up on i0.wp.com, i1.wp.com, i2.wp.com, and i3.wp.com. To take advantage of caching, it might be useful to use the same subdomain for the file on subsequent calls.
- SSL support. You can use Site Accelerator on SSL pages without mixed content warnings. Just use https://i{0,1,2,3}.wp.com instead of http://i{0,1,2,3}.wp.com
Limitations and Disadvantages
1. Accelerated images are “permanently” valid and the cache cannot be deleted! Replacing images is not supported.
2. Acceleration of images larger than 55M is not supported.
3. The scaling parameter is limited to between 1 and 10.
4. Adjusting the path parameters of the image will cause the GIF animation to fail.
5. In some cases, the official will compress the original pictures for storage.
path parameters
Supports direct transmission of URL parameters, not only modifying the image size, but also supporting adjusting image brightness, filters, quality, etc.

Final summary
1. A very good acceleration method, and the domestic access speed is not bad!
2. It is not recommended to speed up private pictures, otherwise they cannot be deleted.
3. Currently, images under all domain names can be accelerated, including images from major manufacturers.
Jiketuchuang (https://ift.tt/0smiQ6v) plans to add this method as a picture backup function.
4. If your image requires anti-hotlinking, acceleration will fail.
5. If the official finds any abuse, the image acceleration will be deleted and the domain name will be added to the blacklist.
6. It is recommended to back up pictures in multiple ways, just in case! !
