According to reports, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently announced that it will launch a rocket for scientific research on the 26th of this month from the Arnhem Space Center in New Lanbai, northern Australia. The launch will be the first time NASA has used a commercial launch site outside the United States, and the first time NASA has launched a rocket from Australia since it launched at the Australian Air Force’s Woomera Proving Ground in 1995. NASA said it chose the Arnhem Space Center because of its location in the southern hemisphere, close to the equator, the report said. NASA and Australian partners will also conduct two more launches on July 4 and July 12. (Reference News)
