Bilibili’s first-quarter revenue was 5.05 billion yuan, and its net loss expanded year-on-year
Sina Technology News Beijing time on the evening of June 9th, Bilibili (Nasdsaq: BILI, Station B) today released the financial report for the first quarter of 2022 as of March 31. According to the financial report, Bilibili’s total net revenue was 5.0541 billion yuan (about 797.3 million US dollars), an increase of 29.5% compared with the same period of the previous year. The net loss was 2.2841 billion yuan (about 360.3 million U.S. dollars), compared with a net loss of 904.9 million yuan in the same period last year. Non-GAAP adjusted net loss was 1,654.9 million yuan ($261.1 million), compared with an adjusted net loss of 891.0 million yuan a year earlier.
In the first quarter, the average daily active users of Bilibili reached 79.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 32%. Average monthly active users reached 293.6 million, while mobile monthly active users reached 276.4 million, an increase of 31% and 33% respectively over the same period in 2021. Average monthly paying users reached 27.2 million, a 33% increase from the same period in 2021.
