Venus Aerospace closes $20 million Series A financing

Venus Aerospace, an American provider of high-speed transportation services, is building its Mach 12 hypersonic aircraft designed to fly at the edge of space, taking passengers from Los Angeles to Tokyo in one hour. Recently completed a $20 million Series A financing. Since its establishment early last year, it has raised a total of $33 million in financing, including $1 million in government funding. The company currently has about 40 employees. Investors in this round include Prime Movers, Draper Associates, Boost, Saturn 5, Seraph Group, Cantos, The Helm and Tamarack Global. Subsequently, the company released design concept drawings earlier this month.
