All PHP 7.x versions are now EOL (End of Life)

PHP 7.4, the last release in the PHP 7.x series, reached its end-of-life date today. This essentially means that no bug or security fixes will be made to any PHP 7 releases .

PHP 7.0.0, the first version in the PHP 7.x series, was released in December 2015 and brought several major improvements to the language. PHP 7.0 is the version that brings support for scalar types ( string , int , float , etc.) and return types to PHP. It also adds support for Abstract Syntax Trees (AST) and removes many deprecated and obsolete features (such as mysql extensions).

Some of the major feature milestones in the PHP 7.x series include:
