Amazon is making a Tomb Raider TV series. The project is in its early stages, and viewers are unlikely to see it anytime soon. Amazon will also publish Crystal Dynamics’ new Tomb Raider game, a move that represents a further investment in the IP. Tomb Raider will be written by, but will not star in, British actress and playwright Phoebe Waller-Bridge, whose credits include sitcoms Insane, Fleabag and Fleabag. Killing Eve, won the Emmy Award and the Golden Globe Award, and is one of the screenwriters of “007: No Time to Die”. Amazon has also previously announced another video game adaptation, God of War.
