AMD announces first mobile processor with AI engine

At CES 2023, AMD announced the first Ryzen 7040-series mobile processors exclusively equipped with an AI engine. The AI ​​engine comes from FPGA developer Xilinx, which AMD recently acquired. The 7040-series chips are manufactured using a 4-nanometer process, have more than 25 billion transistors, and have a battery life of more than 30 hours.
