Anything You Want

A book by Derek Sivers , I have been following him for a long time, and I also bought the previous How To Live . He gave me the feeling that he was very special, but not the uncomfortable special. He could give people a lot of inspiration, and he didn’t have the meaning of preaching.

This book is actually a microcosm of his experience in founding CD Baby, from which he extracted general content and some of his own thoughts. I think one of his advantages is that he has not experienced systematic business school influence, lacks these rules and regulations, can think more from the First Principle, and then you will find that there is no Magic, just stick to some principles or original intentions, such as being a CD After a very successful run for many years, Baby donated it to a foundation he created for music education (it had nothing to do with Sivers when it was later sold for over $20 million), in the author’s own words: “I live simply. I don’t own a house, a car, or even a TV. The less I own, the happier I am.”

The content of the book is not much, you can read it in a day, but it is always new.
