IT House reported on January 11 that Apple cooperated with the third-party parking platform SpotHero to make it easier for Apple Maps users in the United States and Canada to find parking spaces. Apple has integrated the SpotHero function on the new version of AppleStore, which will display the parking lots and parking garages around the location selected by the user on the map.
AppleMaps users can reserve and prepay for your parking spot in this SpotHero web view. You can also filter the available options to find parking options that offer valet parking, in-and-out privileges, covered parking, and more. Most of the parking options featured in SpotHero are paid, so don’t expect to use it to find free parking.
IT Home understands that the feature is now available at 8,000 locations in the U.S. and Canada. AppleMaps has provided parking information through other third-party services in the past, and provides more convenience for Apple users by integrating SpotHero.
