Due to a problem with iCloud synchronization, @mizu_bai’s graduation thesis was deleted. She said :
The original intention of saving in iCloud is to backup, which is a big joke.
Sympathy, but it looks like this friend is confusing backup services with sync services. iCloud Drive is not a backup, but a synchronization.
Backup is to copy the data from the source disk (usually your local main hard disk) to a place (called the target disk, which can be a cloud disk or another local hard disk), even if you delete the file from the target disk, The files on the source disk will not disappear either. vice versa. The reason why synchronization is called synchronization is precisely because it keeps the state of the files on the source disk and the target disk exactly the same. Therefore, delete files from the source disk and the ones on the target disk will disappear. vice versa. Deletion is also a state.
iCloud Drive and Dropbox are both sync services and Backblaze is a backup service. If you log into the first two with a browser and delete the file, the local copy will also disappear.
