BIOS settings on MSI motherboards found to be insecure

The default BIOS settings for MSI motherboards were found to be insecure, allowing any operating system images to run, whether they were signed or not signed or signed incorrectly. More than 290 models of MSI motherboards are affected. Polish security researcher Dawid Potocki, who first discovered the issue, tried to contact MSI but received no response. This issue affects the latest firmware on MSI motherboards with Intel or AMD processors, and even brand new models of MSI motherboards.
