Maybe it’s because the “cottage” brand of the car logo is too strong, or maybe the car logo has no memory point. BYD later replaced the new car logo, but this time, it hit Kia hard again.
In this version of the car logo, BYD’s designers used the same red oval frame and the same red letters as Kia, except that “KIA” became “BYD”. Seeing these two comparison pictures, Pan Ge can only seem to say: BYD car logo designer, the creativity is still not enough.
In 2012, BYD “Qin”, the first car of BYD’s “Dynasty” series, was launched, and Chinese characters began to be used as BYD’s car logo.
However, the Chinese characters of the “Dynasty” series of car logos can become a single car logo, but cannot become a general car logo of the BYD brand. While there are limitations, it is not conducive to the internationalization of the BYD brand.

Some netizens borrowed the design ideas of Rolls-Royce’s car logo and replaced the “double R” logo with the overlapping front and rear of the two letters “BD”. Elements are all reflected in the logo.
Some netizens were inspired by the Bentley car logo, and directly used the initials of BYD’s “BYD” as the main element of the car logo.
In addition, there are more netizens who have opened their minds and designed new car logos for BYD. Different elements and styles have collided with each other.
However, Pan Ge found that these folk designers always seem to like to work on the three letters of “BYD” when designing the car logo for BYD. And this seems to be the official BYD logo design idea for a long time.

Looking at global car companies, it is not uncommon to see Lianliankan similar to BYD.
For a car company, designing a good car logo does not seem to be a simple matter; if you want to clearly express the brand positioning, name, etc. in a square inch, and at the same time make people memorable, you really need certain ‘s effort.
Therefore, some car companies have begun to “use it”, borrowing and modifying other people’s car logos to become their own new car logos.
For example, a car company named Weijia directly turned the logo of Weilai upside down and became its own new car logo. To this end, some netizens said: “Is this going to turn Weilai?”
Under the unanimous condemnation of everyone, Weijia re-released a new car logo, but this time, the car logo was infinitely close to the “Wei” brand of Great Wall.
In addition, some car companies are suspected of being lazy in the design of car logos.
For example, the “Tank” logo of the Great Wall seems to be obtained by inverting the Great Wall logo and then making a rectangle; while the “Wei” logo is like another compression of the Great Wall logo.
