Canaan Technology has recently appointed May Wu as the company’s chief scientist and senior vice president, responsible for the management of its Advanced Technology Institute (ATI), and reports to Zhang Nangeng, chairman and CEO of Canaan Technology.
According to the data, Wu Xiaoyun has more than 40 technical patents and rich experience in SoC and AISC architecture and design, and is a world-renowned technical expert in this field. Wu Xiaoyun worked at Intel USA for 17 years and is Intel’s first female Fellow from Asia. In addition, Wu Xiaoyun also worked in Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, which is well-known in the semiconductor industry, for 7 years, and was responsible for the architecture design of the company’s SoC and AISC as the R&D director.
