I met two groups of family members of the victims, two stood outside crying and praying in a low voice, the other was about to collapse from crying, and the others walked back with support.
The medical school can still enter and exit normally. The motor vehicle lane at the entrance is closed, and there are two rows of various vehicles parked on both sides, logistics, spare engineering vehicles, etc., and the non-motor vehicle lanes also have special police motorcycles.
The opening at the accident site was naturally guarded, and there were also several people on the stairs and balconies of the houses inside the fence looking at the family members who were praying from a distance.
The people standing next to their family members are in a bad mood, but they don’t know how to comfort them.
The landlord was only 40 years old, the landlord’s father also died in the accident, and his wife was rescued.
There were cracks in the house before, and the landlord bought materials to reinforce it. Later, a 40-50 cm opening was opened. On the day of the incident, he went out to buy materials to prepare for reinforcement and avoided the collapse.
The upper part of the illegally built house is made of concrete, and the lower part is of brick-concrete structure. There used to be a pond nearby.
The landlord and his relatives (uncles/uncles) had been fighting for a long time because of the conflict of the house. First, they occupied part of the other party’s foundation. After the rescue was over, many people sent flowers near the scene to observe a moment of silence.
I heard from medical students that some family members of the victims cried all night near the scene (should be outside the fence) and kept saying, “XXX, Mommy is here to take you back…”
The niece of my wife and colleague was not spared in the collapsed building in Wangcheng.
The high school classmates who were interns in my wife’s class were also among the victims. These classmates went to comfort and accompany their family members. My mother washed her face with tears every day, and she lost a lot of weight without thinking about tea and rice.
I heard that there were still people eating when the incident happened. The waiter saw that the roof was falling and persuaded them to leave first. Several waiters came out together and escaped. But one of the waiters went back to pack them, and it was misfortune.
According to people who have been on duty at the scene, the scene was tragic, but they were not allowed to take pictures. When the police were on duty many times, this time the atmosphere was the most depressing.
If there is a courier, it will be buried as soon as you go in and pick up the goods, leaving only the car outside.
Someone saw that the house was falling ashes and advised friends not to go in and drink milk tea, so the friend prepared to order and take it away, but he still did not avoid it.
It is said that the family members can only see the remains after they have signed a letter of commitment that they will not cause trouble. Some family members were emotionally going to the scene of the accident, and their ribs were broken.
It is also said that each person compensated 1 million yuan, and later it was 1.7 million yuan (each student was responsible for the accident to pay 1 million yuan in compensation (government advance) + 300,000 from the government + 30 from the school + 100,000 from the insurance company).
It is said that the deputy mayor in charge will be dismissed, the street director and secretary will be imprisoned, and the director’s wife is just pregnant with a second child

It is estimated that there will be a special campaign to demolish illegal self-built houses. What I am most concerned about is whether the illegal construction of “high-end” communities such as Bafang Community will be demolished. Some of the public green spaces are enclosed as private gardens, and some are dug down. The basement is used as a home theater, and no one dares to control it.
When will there be no privileged exceptions, I think the rectification is in place.
