The 2023 China Economic Forecast and Outlook Report released by the Forecasting Science Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the 12th shows that my country’s economy will run smoothly in 2023, and the annual GDP growth rate is expected to be around 6.0%. According to the report, consumption, investment and net exports contributed 3.5, 1.5 and 1.0 percentage points to GDP growth respectively. It is estimated that my country’s economic growth in 2023 will show an inverted “U” pattern of low front and back, middle high, about 4.2% in the first quarter, 9.3% in the second quarter due to the low base in 2022, and 9.3% in the third quarter.
