ColdQuanta secures $110 million in Series B financing

ColdQuanta is an American manufacturer of quantum technology application instruments. It has Quantum Core technology to use lasers to cool ultra-cold atoms to near absolute zero temperature to manipulate and control atoms. It can provide users with component instruments, radio frequency (RF) receivers and quantum Communication systems and other services. ColdQuanta raised $110 million in Series B funding. The round was led by LCP Quantum, with participation from In-Q-Tel, Sumitomo Corporation of America, Breakthrough Victoria, BOKA Group Holdings I LP, Foundry Group, Global Frontier Investments and Maverick Ventures. Former Motorola Chairman and CEO Christopher Galvin has joined ColdQuanta’s board of directors. Mr. Galvin is also now an investor in ColdQuanta.
