Recently, 36 Krypton learned that Comoro Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Founded in October 2021, Comoro is a company that 36Kr has been following for a long time. Comoro is committed to using wireless signals and sensors, through heterogeneous chips and sensing algorithms, to provide an overall solution for multi-source fusion sensing technology, and to help the development of AIoT . Prior to this, Comoro has completed tens of millions of seed round financing invested by Triumph Venture Capital and Qicheng Capital.

Just like the predictions of technology pioneers decades ago, after experiencing distributed computing and mobile computing, we are once again ushering in the innovation of computing platforms. Looking back at history, every evolution of computing technology will inevitably produce new human-computer interaction methods, new terminals and business forms, and then promote the development of productivity. Perception technology and communication technology are the pillars of ubiquitous computing. Today, the development of 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth and other technologies has made communication connections simple and efficient; however, the field of perception is still fragmented, discontinuous, difficult to expand, easy to interfere and fragile. Comoro expects to provide users with a robust, scalable, low-cost, miniaturized and low-power consumption multi-source fusion ubiquitous solution including chips, algorithms and other hardware through the development of a complete set of underlying framework technologies. Since its establishment, Comoro’s indoor and outdoor multi-source fusion sensing algorithm framework has been developed, and has been verified on a variety of computing platforms; it has completed the development and tape-out of multi-band low-orbit satellite and navigation signal RF chips. At present, the research and development of Sensor Fusion processors and solutions is progressing smoothly, and mass production will be promoted as soon as possible.

In terms of technical barriers, since ubiquitous perception is a multidisciplinary field, the R&D team needs to have chip design capabilities, wireless signal processing capabilities, computer and perception algorithm design capabilities, etc., in order to build an integrated underlying overall solution. At present, there are few teams in China that are capable of launching an overall solution for multi-source integration.

Wu Jun, the founder and CEO of Comero, used to be the PM of RDA, ZTE Microelectronics, senior technical expert, and chief technical engineer.
