Life’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.
Doctor, you still have a lot to deal with. Can’t rest now.
As I said before , recently inexplicably parachuted into a multinational GameFi company to become the CTO?
All of a sudden, I have to coordinate 40+ people from various departments to work together, and suddenly I use the friendly Google Calendar again…
It also makes me miss…
So I wrote a self-introduction imitating the way I first joined Google. .
Hello everyone, you may probably have heard me on the Internet or TV show before …
If not, I’d like to have a short introduction of myself.
I founded two companies in 2018, the first one is GameCreator , a RPG Maker like toolkit to help people with no idea on programming to build their games.
The second is Andoromeda, a web3 company building lots of crypto-related products including meta space , w3itch , unisave , matataki , etcs and etcs …
Our aim in Andoromeda is to build inclusive blockchain products to help more people increase their productivity, and realize the massive adoption of blockchain technology.
But we all know, this should be hard. So what attracted me most here in Ambrus is the opportunity to achieve this ambition and to avoid the lessons I had learned in the last few years.
Before running my own startup, I am working in Google Shanghai and Mountain View in the ads team.
Before joining Google, I have a short intern experience in a mobile game company called Shanghai Huanlehuyu.
Before that, I am an algorithm competition competitor. (One of my hobbies today is solving algorithm problems on Codeforces && Topcoder)
I also happened to be a Vtuber, running a personal streaming channel on solving algorithm problems, playing games, and some random crypto stuff.
My initial job is to make sure that our NFT airdrop could go smoothly. And to be truthful, this is my first time working as a CTO with so many different teams.
I feel extremely flattered because I thought I am only here to write some smart contracts at the beginning!
Regards,
MinakoKojima
. . .
As you can see, though, over the years, we have developed so many messy things, covering game production tools, decentralized exchanges, Web3 content platforms, DeFi, social tokens, etcs etcs. . .
Although technically it is not impeccable, it is definitely remarkable. . . For example, the virtual liquidity of Unisave, rounded up is the Concentrated Liquidity of Uniswap V3. . . I have been in the production environment for more than half a year. . .
But it’s a real business success. . But reluctantly painted, it has its own appearance. . . . . . Can’t say it’s not at all… can only say it’s a complete failure. . . . .
In the past few years, I have also experienced countless ups and downs, lingering on, and then fighting back. . . I have now practiced to the point where my heart is as clear as ice and the sky is not in shock. . .
(There should be ice cream here…)
The domestic Web3 entrepreneurial environment. . . Really indescribable. . . But it doesn’t mean that I die today, not a crime of war. . . Be sure to reflect on yourself. . .
Of course, I think the most problematic ones are BD and operations. . . The form of Matataki is basically certain to meet the light of death in the country. . . Coins that are countless times better than our best are almost dead. . Dozens of times the force field died. . . . There is also a single seedling Matter. . .
Although Lian Wen is dead, he is probably still alive. . . Even public accounts like ETHfans and SeeDAO have not been spared. . Really great life, random death. . .
A child like me who grew up in the golden 10 years of the mobile Internet. . . This cycle is really hard to adapt to. .
. . Although my mind is full of question marks. . . But what needs to be done is still to be done. . . Our first step was to decide to abandon Matataki and switch to a fully decentralized component-based modular architecture. . .
( Oh, my grass, there are still friends who came to the group to cheer us on today. . . )
That is, the Meta Space that everyone sees now. . . This product is really elegant. . Matches my aesthetic. . . But solved a problem. . Immediately faced a new problem – no users!
In the first lesson of entrepreneurship, when Y Combinator students graduate, they will give everyone a ring called, I have do something that people want…
So some time ago I asked myself repeatedly, did I really do something that people want. . .
Of course, I think Social Token must be the most meaningful direction. . . For example, the case of A-soul cannot be solved by non-Social Token. . .
But I need more careful planning to make it happen. . . So in the past few months, I have fired non-technical employees very painfully, and just like SeeDAO, I have cancelled the domestic company. . .
A new long march of decentralization has begun. . . w3itch is the work of this time. . (Okay, I have a showdown, don’t pretend, this is what I did!). . . In fact, the underlying logic is completely consistent. . .
Have the opportunity to talk about the new company’s business and products. . .
I used to feel pretty flattered. . . I am such a vegetable vase player. . Are you really qualified for the CTO position? . . . .
(Actually, I hired a CEO for myself last year…but I don’t think I am suitable for the CTO position…so I have been recruiting CTO since then, and I really did.!…)
. . But the first time I experienced it. . . I’m pretty capable. . . (At least I am invincible in the remote working cycle… After all, I will hold a meeting on Vtuber…)
The team’s Globalize is very important in the web3 field, and what I like is that this company has experience in making products that affect tens of millions of people before. . . And that’s what we’re missing right now. .
. . . Meta’s products are still there, the code is still there, and the spirit, development, and funds are all there. . Teams are also flatter. . . . I believe we need to wait for an opportunity. . . . .
And before that, I need to learn by doing. . . How to be a good CTO and make a product with global influence…
