Pinwan, August 17th, according to a report from People’s Daily Online, in July 2022, the national network information reporting department and major website platforms accepted 14.414 million reports, a decrease of 3.8% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 14.5%.
Specifically, the Illegal and Bad Information Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China (National Internet Information Office) accepted 544,000 reports, an increase of 18.9% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 73.0%; local network information reporting departments accepted 773,000 reports, a month-on-month decrease 0.9%, a year-on-year decrease of 31.8%; 13.097 million reports were accepted by major website platforms nationwide, a month-on-month decrease of 4.8% and a year-on-year decrease of 15.0%.
At the same time, among the reports accepted by major website platforms across the country, the number of reports accepted by major commercial website platforms accounted for 56.7%, reaching 7.426 million.
