Dead Island 2 Releases First Game Demo Video

After releasing its first trailer eight years ago, the open-world zombie apocalypse game Dead Island 2 released its first gameplay demo video at Gamescom Cologne, officially announcing that the game will be released on February 2, 2023 . Dead Island 2’s first trailer , released at E3 2014, piqued player interest, with more than 26 million views, but the development of the game itself was bumpy. Originally developed by Yager Development, the game was taken over by Sumo Digital in March 2016 and in 2019 by Dambuster Studios, a studio owned by Deep Silver. The game is set in Los Angeles and will support PC, Xbox and PS. The PC version will be exclusive to Epic Games for a limited time , and the game scene includes iconic Los Angeles locations including Beverly Hills and Venice Beach. Other games announced at the Cologne Game Show include Return To Monkey Island, The Expanse: A Telltale Series, Homeworld 3, and the action game Yanyun Sixteen Voices from NetEase-owned studio Everstone Games— – With the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms as the background.
